Tim Hortons is a renowned Canadian fast-food restaurant chain that has become an integral part of Canadian culture. The company was founded in 1964 by Tim Horton, a professional ice hockey player, and Ron Joyce, a former Hamilton police constable. It entered Indian market in year 2022 and opened their restaurants in NCR and Punjab. Tim Hortons India has about 200 employees.

 

At Tim Hortons, the employee engagement program goes beyond traditional methods to include team-building activities, one of which was organised with the assistance of Tirang Sports. Sports like badminton creates a positive and cohesive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among employees. Engaging in team building activities like badminton not only promotes physical fitness but also strengthens communication, trust and camaraderie among colleagues. By participating in employee engagement activities at Tirang Badminton Centre Dwarka, Tim Hortons employees have the opportunity to bond outside of work, build stronger relationships and contribute to a more unified and motivated workforce.

 

We, at Tirang Sports are glad to announce that the employee engagement program, held at Tirang Badminton Centre Dwarka, Goyla Vihar from June 20th to June 21st, 2023, was a resounding success. Around 50+ employees from Tim Hortons India participated in the event, aiming to promote team spirit and employee engagement. Notably, the Punjab state employees of Tim Hortons India, emerged victorious in both the doubles and singles categories. The CEO of Tim Hortons India, Tarun Jain was humble enough to find time for presenting the winners with the trophies.

 

This successful collaboration between Tirang Sports and Tim Hortons India underscored the importance of promoting a healthy work-life balance and boosting morale. The employees of Tim Hortons India also expressed their praise for the top-notch facilities and venue provided by Tirang Sports for the employee engagement program.
